Savannah

Job Title: Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Favorite reading snack/beverage: A nice hot cappuccino and an éclair.

A signed book on your shelf: I’ve got the full Folk of the Air and Stolen Heir series signed and personalized by Holly Black and I do consider that my crowning achievement in life.

Bookmark or dog ear? Bookmark, of course! Do I look like a heathen?

Hot pink or bright blue? Hot pink, baby!

Mara

Job Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Favorite place to read: The cozy little reading corner in my apartment, under a big blanket.

Book that made me a book lover: Matilda

Bookmark or dog ear? Bookmark (i.e. receipts, junk mail, leaves… anything can be a bookmark!)

Hot pink or bright blue? Hot pink!

Alice

Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Favorite place to read: In the park on a gloomy day—sunny days are also great, depending on the book! Or on the sofa with my cat. Or in an atmospheric coffee shop. Or on an airplane. Better question is, where’s my least favorite place to read? In any and all land vehicles.

Favorite reading snack/beverage: Earl grey tea with lemon and honey and a piece of sourdough toast with salted butter.

Bookmark or dog ear?: I am a reformed dog ear-er(?) who now exclusively uses bookmarks. These days, if I don’t have a bookmark on hand I will memorize the page number before dog ear-ing(?)!

Hot pink or bright blue? It’s blue or bust for me.

Job Title: Marketing Operations Associate

A signed book on your shelf: FOXGLOVE by Adalyn Grace and BIG by Vashti Harrison are my two newest, hehe! I absolutely love them both. I also have a signed copy of The Perfume Burned His Eyes by Sopranos alumni Michael Imperioli. #jersey

Book(s) you think everyone should read: The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith, and I really enjoyed Going Postal by Terry Pratchett recently, so everyone should read so they can laugh with me!

Bookmark or dog ear? Both! Bookmark my spot, dog-ear good lines that I’ve underlined so I can go back and write them down later

Hot pink or bright blue? BLUEEE!

Andie

Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Favorite place to read: Usually it goes chair, bed, floor, bed, floor. It’s a process.

Book(s) you think everyone should read: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern; Legendborn by Tracy Deonn; Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir; Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo; Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston; Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas; This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar & Max Gladstone; The Girls I’ve Been by Tess Sharpe; Babel by R.F. Kuang; the list goes on…

Bookmark or dog ear? I cannot emphasize this enough: BOOKMARK. I would rather lose my place than dog ear a book. Also, bookmark is a relative term. Any paper product will suffice.

Hot pink or bright blue? Blue, blue, blue!

Hardcover, paperback, or ebook? Hardcover first editions. Unless I’m on vacation, and then trade paperbacks.

Bookmark or dog ear? Gross. A NOVL bookmark, of course! Anyone I hired who answers “dog ear” will be on immediate probation.
